Misty Bank Finlay (Finn)

Misty Bank Finlay (Finn)

Purpose performance bred TB gelding
Sire: Jubilee Favour

Anyone that knows me knows this boy has been my number one for the past 4/5 years. I absolutely adore him but sadly due to life changing, my love for dressage isn’t there and this boy is way too good to sit in the spelling paddock (also he hates the pleb life).

His favourite things and new owner must be able to provide (these are non negs for Finn and I).
- weekly shampoo and pamper sessions
- carrots at night with change of rugs
- friends in sight
- a good MASTER farrier every 6 weeks
- an angle float (prefer a friend to come for adventures)
- carrots, lots of carrots.
- saddle fitter regularly as he changes shape throughout his prep.

Finn in return will give you so much love. This horse adores his human and it breaks my heart even writing this ad (there may or may not be tears).
Finn is a bit quirky but always sooooo safe. I’ve never fallen off or even come close too even when I decide to canter around bareback for my annual demonstration to prove to the staff I can.

Finns idea home would be a level 4/3 dressage home. He has been quite successful at level 2, scoring up to 72% at one comp but he finds the work hard and a bit stressful at this level. Grade 3/4 is foolproof and he is a true schoolmaster at this level.
Finn loves trot poles and loves to jump but I only do this at a very very low level as a change of scenery for him. He isn’t the bravest trail riding horse but we try.

I got Finn over 4 years ago because he failed the vet check. He won’t pass on a tight circle so he is valued well under value. He has crap TB feet so needs a good farrier who hot shoes, I normally have a heart bar on one foot and sometimes in summer put pads on. He is completely manageable but does need a reliable farrier who won’t let him run 2/3 weeks over due. In over 4 years he has had about 6 days in total where he was footsore and competed most weekends throughout the season with no issues and never let me down.

Price: $5500 (would also be open to a long term forever lease).
